Group HSE Auditor & Safety Manager

Based | Home – Extensive travel involved |
Job Purpose | To implement and monitor compliance standards throughout the Motus UK. Implement Health, Safety & Environmental standards within business units and monitor compliance standards achieved. Devise practical solutions that can be actioned by the job holder and managers in order to control business risk exposure and minimise the consequences. |
Key Aspects | - Implement, promote, advise and guide the business units on all aspects of group HSE compliance.
- Undertake HSE administration audits and site Inspections per year at each location and recommend corrective actions for local implementation.
- Undertake & review specialist Risk Assessments/surveys (e.g – Fire and/or asbestos)
- Review group exposure to risks and advise where appropriate the necessary corrective measures
- Assist in accident investigations as required and monitor data in order to highlight causes, identify remedial actions and reduce risks
- Provide support, and implement HSE standards within agreed business units to ensure that expected results are achieved and benefits realised
- Undertake and implement training, projects and initiatives in order to improve HSE & Compliance standards
- Audit the performance and service provided to the business by our occupational health advisors
- Highlight breaches of HSE policies and Compliance procedures and escalate to appropriate level of management.
- Provide monthly risk analysis report based on audit results and corrective actions.

Skills & Competencies | - NVQ Level 5, NEBOSH Diploma or other formal safety qualification to similar level
