IT Field Engineer

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Field Engineer.

This is a prime support role to ensure quality system performance is constantly delivered to over 3000 Motus UK technology users. To be a key member of IT helpdesk in supporting end users, support the performance of software and network services to users through collaboration with the support desk team lead, support desk colleagues, infrastructure team and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities include: 
  • Making sure service levels and communication provided to end users is of the highest standard
  • Perform day to day support desk duties
  • Perform 2nd/3rd line support of network, hardware and software issues as required by the business
  • Travel as needed to any Motus UK sites
  • Permission and access request changes
  • Installation and alterations of hardware and infrastructure required in the business
  • Some project work associated with the development of company systems and business strategy and changes in technology
  • Maintenance of, and compliance with Environmental Health & Safety standards

  • VPN Firewalls / Proxy Server
